Here are a few ways to ensure you have a perfectly cold beverage.
Tip #1 : is to chill your tea in advance.
If you are making our Oolong milk tea or any Black/Green tea beverage, steep the tea bag for a minimum of 5 minutes with hot water. Steep longer for stronger tea flavour.
Remove the tea bag.
For milk tea add in non-dairy creamer, stir until dissolved.
Then chill in the refrigerator until cold.
Serve over ice.
Tip #2 : use a drink shaker and chilled glass.
You can use a cocktail shaker or bottle shaker, typically used with protein shakes.
Add in a cup of ice with your 1 cup of bubble tea .
Secure both ends, and shake vigorously for a slow count of 10. This will allow you to cool the bubble tea without getting diluted with melted ice cubes.
Then pour bubble tea into a chilled glass. Use the lid to strain the remaining ice out or add ice cubes if desired.
Tip #3 : use a blender with ice cubes and chilled glass.
Dissolve all flavour powder and non-dairy creamer in ½ cup of hot water.
Once dissolved, pour into a blender and add 1 cup of ice and blend.
Pour into a chilled glass and serve.
